Overview#
Percy covers the Pricebook. It compares each fixed-price material's price with what your markup tiers give for its current cost, drafts a price that restores the margin (in a pricebook draft, never live), and suggests estimate templates for items often sold together.
Before you start#
Open it from AI Team (the AI Team link next to Approvals) and click Open on Percy's card, or click Your Pricing manager agent at the top of a Pricebook page.
Owners and admins change autonomy and guardrails. People who can approve AI proposals (owners, admins, dispatchers, accounting) can use Do it, Dismiss and Undo.
Margins use your Pricing builder markup tiers and rounding. Cost-plus items reprice themselves at publish, so Percy skips them.
Steps#
What Percy does on each run#
Weekly (or Run now): items whose margin is more than 5 points below the tier margin → Draft <item> at $X (now $Y) with the cost and both margins.
Do it (Suggest), approval, or On its own stages the new price in the working draft. Technicians keep the live price until you publish.
Pairs of items on the same invoice 3+ times in 180 days, not already in a template → a note with the pairs.
Undo removes the staged price change.
Set how far Percy may go#
On Percy's page, under Autonomy, click a level: Off, Suggest, With approval, On its own.
Under Guardrails, set the limits and click Save guardrails.
Click Run now to run it immediately instead of waiting for its schedule.
Review what it did#
In Activity, each entry says what, why, and the outcome (Suggested, Waiting for approval, Done, Undone).
Click Do it on a suggestion to do it with your permissions, or Dismiss.
Click Undo within 24 hours to reverse a reversible action.
Settings that change this#
AI Team › (agent) › Autonomy: Off, Suggest, With approval, On its own.
AI Team › (agent) › Guardrails: money limit per action, customer contact, quiet hours, actions per day, monthly AI budget.
Tips#
Review all of Percy's drafts together under Pricebook › History before publishing.
Troubleshooting#
"Margins match your pricing rules". → Nothing drifted more than 5 points.
FAQ#
Will customers see new prices right away? No. Nothing is live until someone publishes the draft.
Is everything Percy does recorded? Yes. Each action is in its activity log and in the audit trail, attributed to the agent (or to the person who approved it).
Coming from ServiceTitan#
ServiceTitan pricebook managers update costs and prices in Pricebook. Percy drafts the same changes for review.
