Overview#
The help center has step-by-step articles for every part of TradesWork. You don't need to sign in to read it, so you can share links with anyone. When an article doesn't answer your question, you can ask the assistant or open a support ticket.
Before you start#
Nothing to set up. The help center is open to everyone.
Opening a page in TradesWork from an article needs you to be signed in.
Steps#
Open the help center at
/help.Search:
Type a few words in Search help articles, such as "book a job" or "refund".
Pick a result from the list, or press Enter to see all results.
Or browse: click a category, such as Calls & booking or Invoices & payments.
Coming from ServiceTitan? Use Coming from ServiceTitan on the help home page to look up a feature by its ServiceTitan name.
In an article:
On this page jumps to a section.
Open in TradesWork goes straight to the page the article describes.
Badges show if a feature is Partly available or Coming soon.
At the bottom of the article, answer Was this helpful? with Yes or No. We read every answer.
Still stuck? Under Still need help?, click Ask the assistant or Open a ticket.
Tips#
Search understands ServiceTitan names, so "Calls › Calls" or "Pricebook" find the matching TradesWork article.
Articles list who they're for (for example CSR or Dispatcher) so you can skip the ones that aren't your job.
Troubleshooting#
Search finds nothing → the words may not match our terms → try fewer words, or the ServiceTitan name for the feature.
Open in TradesWork asks you to sign in → you aren't signed in on this browser → sign in, then click it again.
FAQ#
Can I send a help article to someone who doesn't use TradesWork yet?
Yes. Help articles are public, so the link works for anyone.
What happens when I click No on "Was this helpful?"
Your answer is saved without any customer data. We use it to find and fix articles that don't help.
Coming from ServiceTitan#
Same: a searchable knowledge base of how-to articles, organized by area of the product.
Different: every article says what's the same and different from ServiceTitan and where it lived there, and links straight to the matching page in TradesWork.
